Who is BUIC

Birmingham Uganda Investment Convention is a Ugandan community partnership between Ugandans in the United Kingdom and Ugandans back home. This is in conjunction with other sponsorship partners in both countries and any other parts of the world.

 

The Convention Early bird registration is already open. Accommodation can be booked directly with the hotel, no cash required during booking. However, you will need a bank card to reserve the room and pay on arrival or before travelling.

Policy Statement

Birmingham Uganda Investment Convention Limited aims at bringing together Ugandans/British living in the diaspora and investment partners in both Birmingham (and all other parts of the UK) United Kingdom and Uganda, whilst ensuring that we are creating an avenue for finding market, knowledge, skills and new investment opportunities for the two countries.

FORGED INVITATIONS

We have caught a number of people who FORGE our invitations.
N.B BUIC, updates the embassy on a daily basis about participants who have registered legitimately.
So, if you FORGE an invitation your name will not be on the list so the embassy will contact us to verify your details.
BUIC, will confirm that your invitation is indeed forged.

REPERCUSSIONS OF FORGED INVITATIONS
  • The embassy bans the culprit for 10 years without re-applying to them again.
  • BUIC, sues the culprit for using its invitation without paying for it.
  • If the culprit voluntarily pays the fees for the invitation at this point legal action is dropped
  • If legal action is the pathway taken, then you are sued for invitation dues and also pay Our Lawyer his legal fees and compensation for loss of income to BUIC.
N.B This is a serious matter. So , avoid a FORGED invitation at all costs as the process is very damaging.
