Elizabeth Ricketts - President(BCOM. Accounting. BA in Social Works.)

Elizabeth is the Director and registered Manager of Laura care Agency Ltd, Liz Courts Apartments, Lisi Mixed farm and Liz Ricketts Ltd (real Estate).

 

She holds a Degree in Social Work and a degree in Bachelor of commerce specialising in accounts from Birmingham University. She is also a registered manager care Manager with the Care Quality Commission UK. She has vast amount of knowledge in governance, leadership skills, team, good communication skills and accurate record keeping.

Mr Kitenda John holds a Master of Business Administration (projects) and Higher Diploma in Marketing from Makerere Business School. He is also a graduate of Commerce (Accounting) from Makerere University kampala.

Patrick Byenkya Kwesiga is the Clinical Director of Living Well UK, one of the two providers of NHS Talking Therapies in Birmingham. He is also the Founder Chair of Our Roots Community Interest Company in Birmingham, which delivers a range of talking therapies, community development work, and children psychosocial activities and mentoring in educational, wellbeing and achieving in society. He is a psychotherapist by profession and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy

Sebowa Simon - Vice Chairman (BA Economics & Management)

Is an Economist who has over 10 years experience working with Energy and Minerals Ministry with responsibilities including budgeting,planning,policy analysis, Monitoring&Evalution among others. Simon obtained his Master’s in Economics policy and Management in Makerere University, Bachelor Degree in Economics and Managemnt in Uganda Christian University and certificates in planning , Energy ,small Hydropower Technology obtained in Mbabane kingdom Swazliand, Dti , Hangzhou the peoples Republic of China and among others

Mr Isaac Kyeyune.(Masters in Community Development)

Isaac Roy Kyeyune has been in the education sector at Makerere University for the last 15 years. An accomplished Program, Project as well as Research Specialist in the sector of Education, he holds a Masters Degree in Community Development and NGO Management and a Bachelors Degree in Adult and Community Education. He has initiated and led research projects from and by various development partners like Bill and Mellinda Gates, USAID, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, United Nations Development Program among others.

 

He is presently the Director of LINK Partners International, an Agency dedicated to initiating new development and educational Programs in the region, supporting institutions in organizational and strategic development as well as well resource mobilization and fundraising. Isaac is also the national President for the Association for Resource Mobilization Professionals in Uganda to which is also a founder member.

 

Isaac’s commitment is to continue to develop several strategic education, research and program projects that facilitate and enhance partnerships and networking – especially those focusing on Public Private and Investment partnerships for institutional, national and regional growth.

I am a hospital clinicaI pharmacist. I work closely with doctors, nurses, and other members of a multidisciplinary team to deliver the best possible care for patients. No man is an island! and my work teaches me the importance of teamwork and that listening is an art that allows us to learn from each other.I believe in maximising health as a foundation for wealthier lives,both mentally and physically.My vision for this conference is to explore innovative ways to improve health outcomes for people of different ages. I take particular interest in mental health as this sector of healthcare is largely misunderstood and ignored. I am strong believer in the saying, heal the mind, "heal the body" I am excited to see you all at this conference, I hope we can all learn from each other and leave enriched with vitality to achieve all our wildest dreams.My hobbies and interests change over time, at the moment, I enjoy going on outdoor runs, I like trying out new routes, setting personal distance and speed goals, I have ran one marathon, many other half marathons and various other distances,I enjoy because it's always a mental battle first,it teaches endurance,discipline and also an easy way to improve my mood.I could talk about myself forever so I must stop myself..ahah, I look forward to catching up with you all in person, See you soon!
